Abstract: Vermicomposting is a process of manuring with the organic decomposition products produced by earthworms and related microbes. Vermicompostis considered better compost compare to chemical compost due to its biocompatible composition. Thepresent study deals with the effects of vermicompost on growth, plant components and also the morphological characteristics of the Fenugreek (Trigonellafoenumgroecum) plant. The seedlings were grown on various composition of the vermicompo stringing from 20% – 100% with soil. The morphological properties and physical analysis indicated a proportionate positive variation with regards to different concentration.

Abstract: The main motive behind this study was to formulate an herbal drug loaded nanosized carrier which enhances the permeability of a hydrophilic herbal drug through the membrane and increases the drug concentration into the systemic circulation. And second motive is to provide a cheap formulation to the future consumers which will be deal with the diabetes on that time. An alternative of that drug was silver nanoparticles present but they are very costly at that time. The effectiveness of the formulation was considered on the basis of the In-Vitro inhibition study of the alpha-amylase by Pterocarpus marsupium loaded liposomes and compared with a positive control Acarbose and it was shows that high concentration of drug was as effective as acarbose to inhibit the alpha – amylase.

Chemical Analysis of Water Hyacinth Ash by XRD and SEM

Abstract: The specific term for the Water hyacinth plant is Eichhorniacrassipes. The water plant that flows freely, rising at still or slower water sources. Water Hyacinth develops massive biomass and doubles its population in two weeks by fast-growing. These entail a loss of biodiversity, water pollution, water loss, agriculture, infrastructure damage and negatively effect on public safety, and water species. The objective of the study is to evaluate the chemical composition of water hyacinth ash by XRD and SEM .XRD is an obligatory method for analysing the characteristics and composition of materials. It is a non-destructive method to analyse all types of material substances like powder, crystals, and fluids. Nowadays X-ray diffraction Techniques are utilized in assorted fields like research, development, and production of materials. The particle size, shapes, surface roughness, and fracture are defined using aEDAX. When a sample is placed on the beam and multiple signals determine the interactions with the samples. Acetone is used to stop the hydration reactions. Then the specimen is dried and made to conduct. Finally, a micrograph was recorded using SEM.

Role of a Zolla Pinnata R.Br. On Alteration of Physicochemical and Elemental Content of Soil

Abstract: Now a day’s the toxic waste of soil and water by chemical fertilizer is a major problem, which leads to negative effect on crop production. Application of organic fertilizers is the only alternative approach to get better soil quality and future agricultural productivity. In this study, Azolla pinnata R.Br was taken as experimental plant and collected from Azolla tank of CUTM garden, dried and grinded into its powdered form and soil samples were collected from a garden of Centurion University of Technology and Management, BBSR, Odisha at depths of 15-30 cm. and elemental analysis was done by using X-Ray Fluorescence. A number of elements/compound was found to be present in both plant and soil sample. Among those, Silicon dioxide the initial soil was 67.203% and in final after 15 days of treatment it was found to be the value was decreased that was 53.21%.(Table-2) In this present study Ca found in initial soil was 4.236%. After 15 days study, Ca found in treated soil sample was found to be increased to 6.758%. (Table-2) In case of minor elements V2O5, Cr2O3, NiO, CuO, ZnO,etc. are present in both plant and soil sample. Like CuO, SrO was also found to be increased from 32.9 to 158.5ppm in final soil sample after treated with Azolla pinnata. It can be concluded that after mixing with Azolla pinnata R.Br on soil, the feritility potency was increased.

Abstract: The present study was aimed to study the phytochemical properties of Murraya koenigii plant. Previous literature has revealed a vast array of pharmacological activities of this plant. This study was dome to investigate upon the production of flavonoids by using heavy metals as elicitors in suspension cultures. There was an increase in flavonoid content with an increase in heavy metal concentration.
